Pohjavirta (Undercurrent) is an autobiographical collection of works that all revolve around the same theme: healing from trauma and reclaiming ones body. 

I explore my relationship to change in a poetic way, using personal symbols connected to my own experience of trauma. Reflecting myself in photographs and their  surrounding environments has opened a space for a different kind of healing process. In that space, water guides me and gives my body both the memory and the permission to work through even the most difficult memories.
